Nepal defeated host Malaysia by 107 runs in their second match of the ongoing ACC U-19 Asia Cup played at Royal Selangor Club stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday. Electing to bat first, Nepal posted a target of 248 runs losing eight wickets in total 50 overs. Sagar Pun scored 70 runs while Pradeep Airee and Rajesh Pulami Magar contributed 39 runs each, Subash Kakurel hit 33 runs, Bhuwan Karki 23 runs and Hasim Ansari 21 runs. Chasing the target, Malaysia were restricted at 140 runs in 43 over as Rahul BK alone grabbed five wickets for Nepal. Nepal were defeated by Pakistan by 8 wickets in the opening match of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup played at Bayuemas Oval stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday. Nepal will now face India in its third match on Tuesday.
