Nepal has climbed to 149th position among 205 countries in the FIFA World Ranking for the month of April 2012. According to the FIFA World Ranking published on Wednesday, Nepal climbed four positions up from 153rd positions with 164 points topping the countries in South Asia. Similarly, Bangladesh is in 152nd position with 154 points, Maldives164th with 130 points, India 165th with 122 points, Afghanistan 168th with 118 points, Sri Lanka 181st with 82 points, Pakistan 182nd with 80 points and Bhutan 201st with 6 points.
