A Nepali migrant worker among seven killed in a fire mishap in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh in the early hours of Saturday, Arabian media reported.
The deceased Nepali has been identified as Rajesh Shah, while the other six are Indian nationals. The fire broke out in the second floor of a Super Market at AlBatha.
According to media suggests the cause of the death to be excessive smoke inhalation.
The deceased, all employees of a supermarket, were sleeping when the fire broke out at about 2.30 am Saturday.
The exact cause of the blaze is not known but according to eyewitnesses it started in the kitchen on the top floor of a four-floor residential building accommodating about 80 workers, the Saudi Gazette online reported.
The Nepali Embassy in Riyadh has been instructed to make arrangements for bringing home the body of deceased Nepali.
