Nepal take on Host Ireland Under-19 team today

Nepal look to better their position at the top of the ICC U-19 World Cup Qualifiers standings with a victory over leaders Ireland at Bready, Cricket Club, Magheramason, Bready, Northern Ireland today.

Nepal stands 3rd in the 10-team standings with 8 points from 6 matches after Friday's narrow win over Namibia. Namibia, USA, PNG, Canada follow closely with 6 points each. Top six teams will join 10 full members in the U-19 World Cup in Australia next year.

After the improved batting performance against Namibia, Nepali batsmen will be looking to put runs on the board. As usual the discipline bowling has been Nepal’s key weapon in their success and they look to continue with the same show against host Ireland, who top the table with five wins from six matches.

The umpires for today's match are Jeff Luck and Ian Ramage and the referee is David Jukes.
