Nepal’s position remains unchanged at 136 according to the latest FIFA World Rankings published by FIFA on Wednesday.
The rankings published today and which are released every month by football’s world governing body FIFA shows that Nepal collected 193 points in total. Nepal added 8 more points from last month.
Nepal had ascended to the 136th position collecting 184 points last month from 148th position.
Nepal still leads the South Asian region, Bangladesh is next following Nepal at 139. However, it climbed 8 places in the latest rankings. Bangladesh was in 147th position in last month’s rankings.
India has slipped five places and is ranked 158 in the world rankings and third in South Asia. Last month India was in the 153rd position. Maldives has also lost two places. However Pakistan and Sri Lanka gained one and two places respectively. Earlier Pakistan was at 171 and Sri-Lanka was at the 176th position. Likewise Afghanistan has also slipped from 179 to 181. Bhutan remains unchanged at the bottom at No. 201.

Maldives – 162
Pakistan – 170
Sri Lanka – 174
