A SPECIAL EVENING WITH ANURADHA EVENT
Monday June 6th, 7.30pm @ ACMI Cinemas, Fed Square Melbourne.
There is a special screening of the documentary "The Day My God Died" (narrated by Tim Robbins and Wynona Ryder) about the sex child trafficking epidemic in Nepal and India and the inspiring people turning this issue around. Anuradha Koirala - star of the documentary, a world leader for a world free of trafficking and founder of Maiti Nepal - an organisation who has rescued and rehabilitated over 12,000 women and children as young as 6 from trafficking will speak at the event. The collected funds will directly go to Maiti Nepal to continue their work rescuing women and children from brothels, rehabilitating their bodies, minds and spirits and giving survivors a new future.
