The world is paying tribute to Steve Jobs, the Apple founder and former CEO of American company Apple Inc, who invented iconic products such as iPad, iPhone and iPod that transformed the digital technology globally.
He passed away at the age of 56. Netizens post RIP messages for him, admirers say don’t mourn him; celebrate his legacy Heaven will now get tech savvy. Jobs was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
While Twitter was abuzz with RIP messages for Jobs, admirers called on people to celebrate his contribution towards shaping the technology of the 21st century. Hundreds tweeted inspirational quotes from Jobs’ speeches through the years.
“Our parents had JFK, we had Steve Jobs. Edison gave us electricity, Jobs gave us the Jetsons in real life,” wrote That Kevin Smith on Twitter. “The only good thing about you not being here is that Heaven can now have some design improvements!” tweeted Gaurav Kant Goel.
As ‘iSad’; ‘RIP Steve Jobs’ and ‘Stay Foolish’ (a famous quote by Jobs) began trending on Twitter, celebrities were quick to add their messages. “Heaven Chronicles: God switches from Divine Communication to iPhone. Angels confirm that a new arrival to Heaven had something to do with it,” wrote Bollywood actor Uday Chopra. “I never thought I could be so busted up about the loss of someone I never met,” wrote Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher. Time magazine stopped press in order to make a special issue on Jobs. “Yep, we stopped the presses ... Time will release its new issue, featuring Steve Jobs on the cover for the 8th time,” they said.
