A diploma student was killed on the spot after he accidentally fell down from the third floor of a building in Subramanyanagar police limits on Tuesday night. The dead was identified as Sagar Roy, 20, from Nepal. He was staying with his classmate in a room on Subramanyanagar 17th cross. Police said Sagar, his room-mate Ankur Rajbhat and their friend Sanni Karanjith, a third year engineering student of Reva College, went to MG Road to celebrate Karanjith’s birthday. They bought wine on the way and returned to their room. They cooked food and went to the terrace on the third floor. After dinner, Sagar was sitting on the parapet wall talking to his friends, when he lost his balance and fell down on the first floor of the adjacent building. He sustained severe head injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he died. The body was handed over to the victim’s father Padam Roy.
