Stranded Nepali worker arrived Nepal

Unconscious Shanti Thing at Tribhuvan International airport upon her arrival to Nepal from Kuwait. Thing who had fled to Kuwait for domestic work five years ago met an accident after falling from five storey building. She was being treated for five years in ‘comma state’ in Kuwait hospital as ‘unidentified citizen’.
Thing who originally hails from Makwanpur district was identified after five years in hospital after getting passport at deportation center in Kuwait. The hospital informed Nepali embassy in Kuwait about the incident and required measure for bringing her back to Nepal.
Initially the hospital declined her to send back to Nepal citing her critical health and lack of proper medical equipment here. But after the coordination of Nepal Foreign Employment Center, the embassy succeeded to bring her back to Nepal,Thursday. Thing, 25, is receiving treatment at Patan Hospital Lalitpur. Earlier, the Kuwait based hospital has let off nearly 7.6 million rupees cost for her treatment.
