Nepal football team invited to play in Philippines against Azkals

Nepal has been invited to play the Azkals in an exhibition match in Manila, the capital of Philippines on Oct. 9.

Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has arranged the friendly match with Nepal as Nepal has recently improved its FIFA ranking at No. 136 and it is also holding the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup finals in March.

In the Challenge Cup finals seven other countries are playing after a series of qualifiers. The eight teams in the finals are the Philippines, India, Maldives, North Korea, Palestine, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Nepal.
