The British Government and the economy are still struggling after the recession. The latest public sector cuts will see the 3,500 strong brigade of Nepalese soldiers that currently serve the British army lose 400 Gurkha soldiers in the next 12 months. This comes in wake of the Ministry of Defence announcement that up to 2,900 members of the army will be made redundant.
