Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has donated US$ 2314 (Approx 176,364 rupees) to the Relief Fund set up for the victims of last week’s earthquake. Additionally, PM Bhattarai deposited US$500 given to him as a token of love for him to manage his travel costs by his school teacher in Gorkha, Yalner Lelints, to the earthquake relief fund. Bhattarai and his wife Hisila had gone to meet Yalner to her home in Connecticut during their US visit. Yalner is one of the founders of the school from where Bhattarai completed his school education in Gorkha. PM Bhattarai had left for US on 19 Sept, hours after the 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit eastern Nepal, killing 11 people and injuring over 200
